HTML Element

The HTML Element control, under the Advanced tab of the Columns block editing sidebar, allows you to specify which HTML tag to use when rendering the block.

By default, a div element is used. The control allows for these other element types to be used, instead:

  • header
  • main
  • section
  • article
  • aside
  • footer
